Can large Class A motorhomes stay at Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort?
Yes. We have pull-through sites and large back-in sites that accommodate most Class A motorhomes, fifth wheels, and toy haulers. Call us at (940) 595-2510 with your rig dimensions if you have an unusually large setup and we will find the right fit.

What are the rates at Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort?
Nightly rates start at $60 (Pull-Through and Back-In) and $70–$80 (Fenced, Covered, and Ultra Premium sites). Monthly rates start at $495/month + electricity (Pull-Through) up to $849/month + electricity (Ultra Premium). All monthly stays require a non-refundable $150 deposit. Does Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort offer monthly rates?
Yes. Monthly rates start at $495/month for Pull-Through sites and go up to $849/month + electricity for Ultra Premium fenced sites. Monthly stays are popular with remote workers, people in transition, and long-term guests who want the stability of a real fenced yard. All monthly reservations require a non-refundable $150 deposit.
Are there extra charges for additional adults?
Monthly rates cover up to 2 adults per site. Additional adults are $50/month, $30/week, or $7/day per person. Please disclose your full occupancy count when booking.
Pets & Dog Amenities
Is Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort pet friendly?
We are built for pets. Most sites feature a fully fenced yard, so your dog gets their own secure outdoor space. Your dog also gets a dedicated dog park, an agility course with jumps, tunnels, and stepping pads, a swimming pond, and a wash station. Waggin' Tail is the most pet-forward RV resort in North Texas.
How many dogs can I bring to Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort?
We welcome pets. Please call us at (940) 595-2510 to confirm your specific pet count. Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome throughout the resort, and with fenced yards at most sites, your dog will have plenty of space.
Are aggressive breeds allowed at Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort?
All dogs must be well-behaved and controlled at all times. If you have questions about your specific dog, please call us at (940) 595-2510 before booking. Our primary policy is that all guests, two-legged and four-legged, must be respectful of their neighbors.
Is there a dog swimming area at Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort?
Yes. Your dog gets a dedicated swimming pond, and Waggin' Tail is one of the few RV resorts in Texas with a purpose-built swimming area exclusively for dogs. It is separate from the human pool and yours to use throughout your stay.
What are the specific pet rules at Waggin' Tail Ranch?
All pets must be on a leash of 10 feet or less whenever outside your rig or fenced yard. No nuisance barking: if your dog disturbs neighbors, management will ask you to address it immediately. Dogs must not run fence lines or charge at neighboring animals through the fence. Zero-tolerance for biting: any dog that bites a person or animal will be required to leave immediately.
Hookups & Utilities
Does the monthly rate include electricity at Waggin' Tail Ranch?
No, electricity is billed separately based on your actual metered usage. Monthly site rates (starting at $495–$849/month) are base rent only. Your electricity charges are added to your monthly statement.

What are the check-in and check-out times at Waggin' Tail Ranch?
Check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Rolling in early or hoping to linger a little longer? Call us at (940) 595-2510 and we will do our best to make it work.
What is the cancellation policy at Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort?

What are the quiet hours at Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort?
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily. All visitors must leave the resort by 10:00 PM. One warning is issued for quiet-hours violations, and subsequent violations may result in removal from the park.
What is the speed limit inside Waggin' Tail Ranch?
The speed limit is 5 MPH and is strictly enforced. With dogs, children, and animals moving throughout the resort, slow driving is essential to everyone's safety.
Are campfires or open wood fires allowed at Waggin' Tail Ranch?
Open wood fires and campfires are not permitted. Propane fire pits are allowed at your site. BBQ grills must be used on the ground or a stable surface, not placed on picnic tables.
What is the cancellation and deposit policy for monthly stays?
All monthly reservations require a non-refundable $150 deposit. If you need to cancel, please give 15 days' notice for a refund of pre-paid rent beyond the deposit. Is there a late payment fee?
Yes. A $15 per day late fee applies to any payment received after your billing due date. Monthly invoices are sent 2 days before the due date. We accept credit cards, checks, and cash. A payment drop box is available at the office.
What are the RV requirements at Waggin' Tail Ranch?
All RVs must be self-contained with working holding tanks, in good running condition, with no broken windows, tarps on the roof, foil in windows, or window-mounted A/C units. One RV per lot only. Your rig must maintain an appearance consistent with the resort's standards.
Can I wash my RV or vehicle at my site?
No outside watering or vehicle/RV washing is permitted at individual sites. This protects our drainage system and complies with Denton County water use standards.
What is the trash disposal policy?
All trash must be placed in plastic bags and deposited in designated dumpster areas. Do not leave furniture, mattresses, or bulk items at the dumpster. Contact the office for special disposal requests.
What is the visitor and guest policy?
Day visitors are welcome but must leave by 10:00 PM. Visitors wishing to stay more than 7 consecutive days must be approved by management and added to the reservation. No soliciting on the property.
What happens if law enforcement is called?
Waggin' Tail Ranch has a zero-tolerance policy. If law enforcement is called to your site for any reason other than a medical emergency, management may require immediate eviction with no refund. Please bring any disputes or concerns to the office first.
What are the rules for site accessories and improvements?
Portable steps and entry mats are welcome, but steps may not exceed 6 feet by 8 feet in footprint. Clotheslines and permanent structures are not permitted. Satellite dish installation requires prior management approval. Each site is allowed one external storage tote.

How do I make a reservation at Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort?
Call us at (940) 595-2510 and a real person will check the calendar and confirm your dates on the spot. Prefer not to call? Use the 'Request Dates Online' form or email manager@waggintailrv.com and we'll reply, usually within a day. We accommodate nightly, weekly, and monthly reservations.

Are all sites at Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort individually fenced?
Most sites have individually fenced yards. Book a Fenced, Covered Fenced, or Ultra Premium site and you get your own private fenced yard. Back-In and Pull-Through sites are standard sites without individual fencing. See the Sites & Rates page for the full breakdown.
What amenities are at Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort?
Waggin' Tail Ranch amenities include: pool, laundry (5 washers/dryers), free WiFi, propane station, EV charging station, business and mail center, community pavilion, outdoor cooking area, community garden, dog park, dog agility course, dog swimming pond, dog wash station, lawn games at the pavilion, goats, chickens and farm-fresh eggs, self-storage units (5x8), and fully fenced yards at most sites.
Does Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort have EV charging?
Yes. We have an on-site Level 2 EV charging station available for guest use. Payment is at the station per kWh at current local rates. Pull up, plug in, and you are ready for your next adventure.
What animals live at Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort?
We have a herd of fainting goats and a flock of chickens on the property, and both are community favorites. Fair warning: fainting goats will briefly faint if startled, which surprises most first-time visitors. Please do not intentionally startle the goats.
Are fresh eggs available at Waggin' Tail Ranch?
Yes. Farm-fresh eggs from our on-site chickens are available for purchase at the office. Ask at the front desk for current availability and pricing.
Is there a playground at Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort?
Yes. We have an on-site playground where kids can burn off the last of the day's energy. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times on the playground and throughout the resort.
What are the pool hours and rules?
The pool is open from dawn to dusk daily. No glass containers are permitted in the pool area. Children must be supervised by an adult. Pool use is for registered two-legged guests only, so dogs stay poolside.
What are the laundry hours at Waggin' Tail Ranch?
Our laundry facility, Laundromutt, is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have 5 washers and 5 dryers. Do not leave laundry unattended for extended periods. Overnight parking in the laundry area is not permitted.
What is Paws N' Swing at Waggin' Tail Ranch?
Paws N' Swing is the community country-swing area, your spot for relaxing evenings and meeting your neighbors. You will find it near the community area.
Can I rent the pavilion for a private event?
Yes. The community pavilion is available for private functions. Contact the office at (940) 595-2510 for availability, pricing, and reservation details.
Is there a park map available?
Yes. A downloadable park map PDF is available on our website showing all site locations, amenity areas, and entry/exit points. You can also pick up a printed copy at check-in.

How far is Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort from Dallas and Fort Worth?
We are approximately 52 miles (about an hour) north of downtown Dallas and about 70 miles (roughly an hour and a half) from downtown Fort Worth. Staying in Pilot Point, Denton County puts you at the closest full-service, pet-friendly RV resort to the DFW Metroplex.
What is near Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort?
Texas Tulips is half a mile up the road (seasonal). Lake Ray Roberts State Park is 7.6 miles away (12 minutes) for hiking, fishing, and kayaking. The Denton historic square with restaurants and live music is 18 miles away (30 minutes). The Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, one of Texas's best birding destinations, is about an hour away and makes a good day trip.
