About Lake Ray Roberts
Lake Ray Roberts State Park stretches across 29,000 acres of North Texas prairieland and shoreline, home to some of the region's finest hiking, fishing, mountain biking, equestrian trails, and water recreation. The park has two units, Isle du Bois and Johnson Branch, connected by a 10-mile equestrian and hiking trail called the Cross Timbers Trail. The lake itself covers 29,350 acres and produces excellent largemouth bass, catfish, and white bass fishing. At just 7.6 miles and about 12 minutes from Waggin' Tail Ranch, it is the park you will find yourself going back to all season.
